I don't know if they would do the route direct to San Pedro, though. ![]() My favorite private driver, Alfredo Garcia, is bilingual, personable, prompt, and safe, and has nice vehicles: daughter Steph and her husband Mario (wonderful people and fully bilingual) have started a sister agency that’s also receiving great reviews. Many drivers don't do the GC to San Pedro La Laguna route but some do. With private transport she could make it to Panajachel in about 3 hours, plenty of time to cross. Another good hotel is Hermano Pedro.You can arrange share shuttles in advance but the last one with a hope of reaching Panajachel in time to cross before dark (around 6pm) leaves the airport at 1pm, too early for her. In Guatemala City, Alberto from Patricia's B & B will pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel. Please send the necessary information from your airline ticket: the airline, the flight number, and the arrival time. It is important to book for both services (shuttle/taxi and hotel) in advance. If you want to stay for a night in Antigua, rooms cost $15, and we can make the reservation. ![]() The airport shuttle service costs $30 per person. Shuttles depart directly from the hotels. ![]() We can also arrange accommodations in Guatemala City or Antigua for the night. If arriving after 11 AM, you can take a taxi or private shuttle at any time you arrive. This service can be arranged from Monday to Sunday, 5 AM-11 AM. The best and safest to get from the airport to San Pedro is on a shuttle.
